Overnight Parking Permits-

Parking Permits are $30.00/per year(prorated thru the year) and can be purchased at the Norwood Borough Office.  

Parking Permit rules:

2024 Parking Permit must be hung from your inside rear view mirror.  The side with the writing must face out for the police officer to see

VEHICLES DISPLAYING PARKING PERMITS

Any vehicle displaying a parking permit must display: VALID INSPECTION STICKER, VALID EMISSION STICKER AND VALID REGISTRATION PLATE.  IF ANY OF THESE ARE EXPIRED THE PERMIT IS CONSIDERED INVALID.

THE VEHICLE MUST ALSO MOVE EVERY 24 HOURS UNDER ITS OWN POWER.

Overnight Parking permits are now on sale at the Borough Office daily from 9am–4pm and Tuesday evenings from 6pm–8pm.

Ticketing will begin Tuesday, January 15th (when the 2-week grace period ends). No tickets will be taken back after that date, no exceptions.

You can call your vehicle in for one night if your having a guest stay, call the overnight parking line and leave the make, model, tag# and the location of your vehicle.  Limited to 3 times per year, excessive calls will not be permitted.

Meters - Not being enforced until further notice(machine is not working).

All meters are enforced Monday—Saturday, 9am to 6pm; Sundays and holidays are free.

If parked at a meter on the street, you still need an Overnight Parking Permit!

$0.25/hr; 2-hour limit

Municipal Lots

Enforced 7 days a week/24 hours a day.

There is a kiosk located at the entrance of each municipal lot.

$0.25=2 hours; $3 maximum
